With more than three decades of media, public relations and business experience, Wendy Robbins brings a plethora of industry wisdom to the helm of Affari Worldwide, a global full-service marketing and advertising agency based in Tampa, Florida. She also runs a small financial services firm that caters to friends, family and referrals and has been a real estate investor for more than 20 years.

Wendy has spoken around the world on topics such business, marketing, branding and motivation. Groups have ranged from a few to more than 6,000. She’s also been honored in front of a crowd of more than 25,000.

Before following her entrepreneurial roots full-time, she served in the US Army as a broadcast journalist and public affairs specialist and worked with some of the largest media companies in the world such as Clear Channel Communications, ESPN and MTV. Her business background includes real estate holdings, financial coaching and business consulting.

Throughout her career Wendy has consistently broken records and earned achievements such as being the only female to graduate from her US Army Advanced Individual Training class held at the prestigious Defense Information School (DINFOS) where she also qualified as Honor Graduate. While serving as an active duty US Army soldier, she earned the Joint Service Commendation Medal and a Keith L. Ware Award for Excellence in Broadcasting. While briefly working full time in financial services, Wendy became the only female in Florida up to that time to reach the level of Senior Marketing Director and did it in record time of just seven months.

Performing arts continues to be a passion for Wendy, and you may find her on stage at one of the local community theaters or serving as the Tampa-St. Petersburg City Producer for the 48 Hour Film Project, an international film competition that allows winning filmmakers to have their work shown at the highly respected Cannes Film Festival.
